Serve it with peanut chutney, tomato ketchup, and coconut chutney that is your choice.
Suji Cheela is mixed with curd, finely chopped onion, tomato, carrot, and green chili. This recipe is very similar to South Indian dosa. But Suji Cheela is better than dosa for making. It makes it very easy to eat breakfast.
Ingredients for Rava Cheela :
- 1 cup rava/ suji
- Half cup curd
- 1pc medium size onion, finely chopped
- 1pc medium size tomato, finely chopped
- Half carrot, finely chopped
- 2 pc green chili, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp corn, boiled
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves
- Salt as per taste
- ¼ tbsp Chat masala
How to make Rava Cheela :
Firstly using a bowl, add 1 cup rava and half cup curd. Mix it well. It is very thick then uses ½ cup of water and mixes well forming any lumps. Rest for 15 minutes or till the rava swells completely.
Further add chopped onion, chopped tomato, boiled corn, chopped carrot, green chili, 2 tbsp coriander leaves, taste according to salt, ¼ tbsp chat masala. Mix it well to make a thick flowing consistency batter.
Now use tawa grease with oil and spread a ladleful of batter thickly. Pour ½ tbsp oil around the edges. For 2 to 4 minutes cook well then use a spatula flip over and press gently making the chilla look golden, then remove it. Cook from both sides for 2 minutes and let the chilla get cooked. Serve hot Rava Cheela with chutney or tomato sauce.
